Flow chart

Education requirements

10 years of school education before starting your post-secondary education nursing or midwifery training program, which leads to registration. The ideal course would be a three-year full-time nursing degree or a Diploma programme that is at least three years in length.

  • Minimum 7.0 in listening, reading and speaking tests.

  • Minimum 6.5 in writing test.

  • Minimum 7.0 overall.

Both the paper based and computer based IELTS Academic test delivered at a test centre are accepted.

  • Minimum B grade in listening, reading and speaking tests.

  • Minimum C+ in writing tests.

If OET certificate is submitted as a part of the application, you'll need to give us permission to verify your results through your myOET account.

Combination of IELTS and OET

It is possible to combine two IELTS tests or two OET tests if both exams are completed within six months. However, IELTS and OET cannot be combined. IELTS requires a minimum score of 7 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking, and 6.5 in Writing, with an overall score of 7. For OET, at least B in Reading/Listening/Speaking and a C+ in Writing are required, with a minimum C+ in each test.

In the procedure, the Registration with the NMC UK is the most critical phase, and completing it on time requires significant skill. Our registration experts and technical staff are well-equipped to assist you in completing your registration quickly and efficiently.

CBT (Computer based Testing)

Pearson Vue is an authorized third-party provider of NMC CBT tests, and we assist candidates with training and test booking. Computer-based tests (CBT) require test takers to submit answers to questions displayed on a monitor using a keyboard or mouse to finish the test. The candidates' computers are all linked to a central server, which creates the test questions and distributes them to them via computer network connections.

The NMC UK assigns CBT as the first level of competency testing. Candidates preparing for the computer-based test have access to the most up-to-date resources available to them. Once a candidate joins Envertiz, he or she will have immediate access to our CBT candidates group, which has over 600 members. Individuals who participate in these talks get a tremendous deal of knowledge and greater comprehension by participating in real-time scenarios that are debated with other people.

The term OSCE refers to an objective structured clinical examination. This simulates scenarios that nurses are likely to encounter when assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care. Each individual clinical examination is referred to as a ‘station,' and candidates are required to visit all of the stations within a specified amount of time.

Passing the OSCE, which is the NMC UK's final competency test for nurses, will result in registration in the UK. Even though it is a difficult exam to pass, applicants who work with Envertiz may relax knowing that we will help them get ready for the OSCE. Before they go for the UK, the candidates receive OSCE preparation materials from us. We provide OSCE trainings in both online and practical sessions.

It's a truth and a source of pride that the employers with whom we do business value and care for their workers. Their facilities include scheduled training sessions and workshops with professional instructors and cutting-edge training resources to ensure that everyone passes the OSCE on their first try.
