More than half a million overseas students are currently enrolled in the UK's colleges and universities, according to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). The number has risen from the previous year's total of 458,520, which was an increase.

Furthermore, according to data from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), a significant increase of 38,580 Indian students enrolled in UK universities between the academic years 2015/16 and 2019/20 has occurred. During the academic year 2019/20, a total of 55,465 Indian students were admitted to institutions across the United Kingdom.
